Privacy
ForecastBot (“we”, “us”) runs forecastbot.io. This page explains what data we collect, who processes it, and how to ask for it to be deleted.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you submit it through the waitlist form. That’s the only personal data we collect directly from you.
- Anonymous usage metrics through Plausible Analytics — page views, referrer, country, browser. Plausible doesn’t use cookies or fingerprinting, and we can’t identify individual visitors from these metrics.
Who processes your data
- FormSubmit receives waitlist submissions and forwards them to our inbox. (FormSubmit privacy)
- Plausible Analytics records aggregate, cookieless usage metrics. (Plausible privacy)
- Our hosting provider may briefly log request metadata (IP address, timestamp) for abuse prevention.
How long we keep it
Waitlist email addresses are retained until launch plus a short follow-up window — up to 24 months — or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is sooner.
Your rights
You can email hello@forecastbot.io at any time to:
- See what data we hold about you
- Correct or update it
- Delete it permanently
We’ll action requests within seven days.
